TeraFlow was presented in the event “ETSI Research Conference: Maximizing the Impact of European 6G Research through Standardization” that took place in ETSI Headquarters, Sophia Antipolis, France. This face-to-face event provided an exceptional opportunity for the research community to come together with industry representatives and standardization experts to discuss future technology research and links to standardization developments.

At the beginning of 2023, the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) launched the first phase of 5G / 6G research projects funded by the EC. The ETSI Research Conference provided the perfect platform to present these new projects and exchange with experts on their standardization roadmaps.

The event was also an opportunity to see good practices in standardization in European projects. TeraFlow and its sibling project Open Source MANO were presented by one of TeraFlow partners, Diego R. López from Telefónica . The title of his presentation was “The ETSI ISG NFV Research Agenda” and it was on Tuesday 7th February.

TeraFlow presentation was scheduled on Wednesday 8th February at 14:45 CET within Session 9 - Research into Standards - Lessons Learned, Overcoming Challenges: how you can help and what contribution you could make. Its title was “Overview of TeraFlow H2020 Project - the journey from an EU Research Project to Standards Activity” was presented by Ricard Vilalta, ETSI Open Source Group TeraFlowSDN Chair (ETSI OSG TFS).
