TeraFlow has a number of deliverables that must be achieved during the lifetime of the project. A deliverable is described as an element of output that is provided or achieved within the scope of the project. The following deliverables will be published

WP1 Project Management

WP2 Use cases, requirements, architecture, business models analysis and data models

  • D2.1 Preliminary requirements, architecture design, business models and data models Jan 2022

This document provides the first release of the proposed use cases, requirements, architecture design, business models and data models for the TeraFlow OS. It is aligned with the features and data models that will be present in TeraFlow OS release 1

  • D2.2 Final requirements, architecture design, business models and data models Jan 2023

This document will report the final version of the requirements, architecture design, business models and data models for the TeraFlow OS solution.

This deliverable is subject to final acceptance by the European Commission. The results of this deliverable reflect only the authors' view and the Commission is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains. This document reports the final version of the use case requirements, architecture design, business models, and data models that refer to ETSI TeraFlowSDN release 2.0. This document is an update of D2.1, based on comments from WP3, WP4, and WP5, and including lessons learned from TeraFlow SDN release 1.0. A new class of secure cloud native Software-Defined Networking (SDN) controller, called TeraFlowSDN (TFS) controller, is described that significantly advances the technology used in Beyond-5G (B5G) networks offering ground-breaking features for both flow management (service layer) and the integration of optical/microwave network equipment (infrastructure layer). This new SDN controller will be able to integrate with the existing Network Functions Virtualisation (NFV) and Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) frameworks and incorporate security using Machine Learning (ML) and forensic evidence for multi-tenancy based on Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT).

WP3 Life-cycle automation and high performance SDN components

  • D3.1 Preliminary evaluation of Life-cycle automation and high performance SDN components Jan 2022

This deliverable leverages MS2.1 and MS3.1 to provide (i) implementation aspects of the core components of the TeraFlow operating system (OS) along with (ii) a preliminary evaluation of these components. This preliminary evaluation will provide useful feedback on functional, performance, and scalability aspects of these components; in turn, this feedback will result in (i) a revised TeraFlow architecture with (ii) additional and/or revised requirements and (iii) a potentially improved TeraFlow component design towards the final release (i.e., MS3.3) and the final evaluation (i.e., D3.2) of the core TeraFlow OS components.

  • D3.2 Final evaluation of Life-cycle automation and high performance SDN components Jan 2023

Extended version of D3.1 according to the final release of the TeraFlow OS components of this WP.

WP4 Network security and interworking across B5G networks

  • D4.1 Preliminary evaluation of TeraFlow security and B5G network integration Jan 2022

This report targets the design and the development of the TeraFlow OS Security and Integration components that are essential for future network security. These components will build upon and also enhance base technologies. For instance, the Cybersecurity component will use advanced machine learning (ML) techniques for analysing network traffic to detect intrusions and malicious network traffic and protect the network against sophisticated attacks to ML components. In order to avoid scalability and latency problems, a hybrid central and edge ML architecture will be designed. The Distributed Ledger Technology component will provide novel security solutions based on Blockchain technologies that decentralize critical and sensitive data and services of the TeraFlow OS. Furthermore, the Compute Integration and Inter-domain components will provide mechanisms and interfaces for the integration of network resources, possibly from other domains, and the connection to other networks, respectively.

  • D4.2 Final evaluation of TeraFlow security and B5G network integration Jan 2023

Revised and extended version of D4.1 according to the final release of the TeraFlow OS components of this work package.

WP5 Prototype integration, demonstration and validation

  • D5.1 Testbed setup and prototype integration report Jan 2022

This deliverable reports the ongoing efforts i) towards the definition of the scenarios for the experimental activities, and ii) to introduce and explain the tools chosen to coordinate the prototype development and integration process. The scenarios defined in this deliverable specify which features of the TeraFlow OS will be most relevant, and which partners’ facilities will be used to set up and test the functions. The set of tools is accompanied by a set of processes and guidelines to be followed during the development process. Finally, installation procedures for the current TeraFlow OS version are provided. As an annex, an updated inventory of the partners' facilities initially included in MS5.1 is provided.

  • D5.2 Implementation of pilots and first evaluation Jan 2023

First deployment of the pilots and initial evaluation analysis.

  • D5.3 Final demonstrators and evaluation report Jun 2023

Final release of the pilots, experimental evaluation and roadmap.

WP6 Standardisation, Dissemination and Exploitation

  • D6.1 Dissemination, Communication, Collaboration and Standardisation Plan Apr 2020

This deliverable provides an initial strategy towards dissemination, communication, collaboration and standardisation together with the action plan to carry out during the project.

  • D6.2 Market and business opportunities analysis and intermediate report on Dissemination, Communication, Collaboration, and Standardisation Jan 2022

This document represents the first deliverable of the TeraFlow project’s business-related activities. After offering the vision of what the Consortium wants to achieve and the motivation behind it, the market context for TeraFlow is analysed and the strengths and weaknesses derived from the market environment and competitors. Identifying the business opportunities is the starting point for the potential exploitation of the results, both individually and jointly in the Consortium. Additionally, the other WP6 activities (communication, dissemination, contribution to standards and collaboration) are reported for the first 12 months of the project.

  • D6.4 Final report on Dissemination, Communication, Collaboration, Standardisation and Exploitation Jun 2023

This deliverable provides a report of the dissemination, communication, collaboration, standardisation and exploitation activities performed during the last 18 months of the project, including an assessment of the impact achieved.
